Lincoln Eatery is a great place to eat if you can’t seem to make up your mind on what Lincoln Road restaurants appeal to you. If you’re looking for a drink, it’s also where you’ll find the secret entrance to a rooftop bar called the Nest.
True to its name, the Nest has birdcages complemented by a décor that could best be described as funky. With antique lanterns, pillows, candles, string lights, and murals painted by local artists, it’s a relaxing and certainly intriguing experience. The 3,300+ square foot space is designed to make locals feel as if they’re sipping on cocktails while lounging in their yard. This is further enhanced by the use of greenery and lounge furniture.
Yet another unusual feature of the Nest is its so-called “spontaneous activations” where performers such as contortionists will make an appearance. Then again, you may your server wearing roller skates as they bring you some shots to throw back. There are also plans to have a wellness night each week as well as movie nights and sports broadcasts.Drink options at the Nest include creative names like the tequila and passionfruit liquor Bird in the Hand as well as classics like the Nest Gin and Tonic.
The Nest is located at 723 Lincoln Lane and is open Fridays and Saturdays from 5 pm to midnight.

Few will argue one of life’s many delights is a great pizza. Not all pizza is created equal, though, and you’ve probably figured out which pizza tastes better to you than another. Miami Beach has no lack of high ratings pizza places, but they may soon be eclipsed by the best pizza in the world.
When you think of the best bars in South Florida, what comes to mind? Maybe your mind drifts to Miami Beach, but is there a certain bar on the barrier island? Only one bar in the city earned itself a spot as one of the world’s top 100 bars, and that distinction goes to Sweet Liberty on 20th Street.
When dining out with a large group of people, there’s always the risk of someone ordering too much or someone sneaking away to use the restroom when it’s time to pay the bill. During Miami Spice, this becomes practically a non-issue thanks to the fixed-price lunch ($22) and dinner ($39) menus available at numerous restaurants. In case you need a suggestion or two on where to dine, consider the following options.
When you’ve been stuck in slow-moving traffic on the Julia Tuttle, MacArthur, or the Venetian, there has probably been a moment where you’ve wished there were other ways of getting to and from Miami Beach. This may indeed happen in the form of a new rail transportation being evaluated by the Miami Dade County Commission.
Summer in South Florida is an experience that will leave wonderful memories and provides fun for every member of the family. Speaking of family, many of us consider our pets to be important members of the family. You may not want to leave them behind when you’re ready to go on vacation and thankfully, Miami has plenty of pet-friendly hotels.
Let us tell you a story about a jet pilot who went by the name of Sam. One day, while he was out and about exploring the Pacific Islands and jamming to some Harry Belafonte, he became so distracted he flew right into the smoke of an erupting volcano! Thankfully, Sam survived and even managed to salvage a bottle of rum from the wreckage. The legend of Sam would continue for generations and his story now continues at the appropriately named Jet Pilot.
We’re beyond excited for the start of Miami Spice on August 1st. The annual dining promotion invites South Florida locals and tourists to enjoy a three-course lunch or dinner for $23 and $39, respectively. This year’s list of participating restaurants is even larger than in previous years, but for purposes of this blog, we’re going to narrow our focus to a pair of restaurants on Lincoln Road.
