An Introductory Guide to the South Beach Wine and Food Festival

The taste buds and noses of foodies are all set to the South Beach Wine and Food Festival (SOBEWFF) kicking off next week. Despite its name, the festival extends well beyond Miami Beach into areas and cities beyond Miami-Dade County like Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach. Today, it’s comprised of over 100 events.

If you do plan on attending SOBEWFF, make sure to bring along an ID and tickets to whichever event you’re attending. Some wet wipes might not hurt either so you can keep your hands and mouth clean from all of the eating you’ll be doing.

Even as SOBEWFF grows and expands with different events, at least one event has remained consistent and that’s the Grand Tasting Village. Since the beginning of SOBEWFF, over fifty restaurants have given out samples and numerous wine and spirits suppliers have provided samples with seemingly no limit in place. This year, the event is being held on 22nd through the 23rd. As one of its most well-known events, expect lines if you don’t arrive bright and early with your $200+ ticket.

As in the past, SOBEWFF will be packed with famous names, so expect to see celebrities like television personality Rachael Ray and singer Trisha Yearwood making appearances.
